% 15.09.2017 It is submitted that petitioner no. 1 and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes amicably before the Delhi Mediation Centre, Saket Courts, New Delhi on 5th July, 2013; therefore, FIR No.278/2011 under Sections 498-A/406/34 IPC registered at police station Amar Colony on the complaint of respondent no. 2, may be quashed. Petitioner nos. 2 to 4 are relatives of petitioner no. 1. Respondent no. 2 is present in Court along with her counsel and has been identified by SI Maan Dev, P.S. Amar Colony. Respondent no. 2 says that she has settled the matter with the petitioners of

her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. Respondent no. 2 submits that her marriage with the petitioner no. 1 has already been dissolved by a decree of divorce by mutual consent on 1st April, 2014 passed by the Family Court, South-East District, Saket Courts, New Delhi.

Respondent no. 2 submits that terms of the settlement have already been complied with. Respondent no. 2 further submits that she is not willing to pursue the FIR any further and the same may be quashed. Keeping in view the settlement arrived at between the petitioners and respondent no. 2 voluntarily, in the interest of justice, FIR No.278/2011 under Sections 498-A/406/34 IPC registered at police station Amar Colony and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous applications are disposed of as infructuous. Dasti.
