% 24.01.2018 It is submitted that the petitioner and the respondent No. 2 are known to each other as they are living in the same locality. A quarrel took place between them on some trivial issue which led to registration of FIR 484/2015 under Section 308 IPC registered at police station Prasad Nagar on the complaint of respondent No.2. With the intervention of their common friends and family members, petitioner and the respondent No.2 have settled their disputes amicably, therefore, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings may be quashed.

Respondent No.2 is present in court and has been identified by SI Narender Kumar of police station Prasad Nagar. Respondent No.2 says that he has settled the matter with the petitioner of his own free will, voluntarily and without any undue force, pressure or coercion and has no objection in case FIR is quashed.

Keeping in view the settlement arrived at between the petitioner and respondent no. 2 voluntarily, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Dasti. A.K. PATHAK, J JANUARY 24, 2018 SRwt
