% 05.12.2018 By this petition the petitioner has sought extension of parole on the ground that his wife is due to deliver on 14th December, 2018. A Status Report has been filed according to which the petitioner was granted parole for a period of four weeks w.e.f. 25th October, 2018 and the parole was further extended for a further period of three weeks by the Govt. of NCT of Delhi with the date of surrender fixed for 14th December, 2018. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the child has already been delivered on 1st December, 2018 and thus the petitioner was present at the time of delivery.
