O R D E R

% 18.12.2017 Pursuant to the proceedings dated 15.11.2017 whereby the matter had been referred to the mediation, the settlement agreement dated 7.12.2017 has been received from the Delhi High Court Mediation & Conciliation Centre indicating that a settlement has been arrived at between the petitioners and the complainant and also the wife of the applicant petitioner.

It has been submitted on behalf of either side that as per clause 2 of the said agreement, the date of registration of the sale deed has been stipulated as being on or before 7.1.2018. The date given by the Registrar is 15.1.2018 and thus this period for compliance of the said term of settlement may be extended till 22.1.2018, which is so stated on behalf of either side.

As in view of the mediation settlement on the record, the State and the complainant do not oppose the prayer, the said para of Clause 2 of the mediation settlement dated 7.12.2017 be read accordingly. In view thereof, in the event of arrest, the applicant is allowed to be released on bail on his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of Rs.1,00,000/- with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the learned Trial Court.
