ORDER
% 08.11.2017 By these petitions, petitioners have prayed for quashing of the By:AMULYA
following cross FIRs:- FIR No. 361/2014 under Sections 34 1/354/509/34 IPC is registered at Police Station Kalyan Pun, Delhi, on the complaint of Geeta Devi (wife of Sh.Muneem Chaudhary) in Cr1. M.C. No. 3909/20 17. FIR No. 359/2014 under Sections 323/354B/509 IPC registered at Police Station Kalyanpuri on the complaint of Sapna Kumar (respondent no. 2) in Cr1. MC No. 3911/2017.
It is submitted that petitioners (accused) and respondent no. 2 (complainants) in both the petitions are living in the same locality and are known to each other. A perusal of FIRs shows that a quarrel took place on some trivial issue, which led to a registration of the aforesaid cross FIRs. Petitioners and private respondents have now settled their disputes amicably in order to maintain harmonioUs relations in future. They say that they have settled the matter of their own free will, voluntarily and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. Complainants Geeta Devi and Sapna Kumar are present in Court and have been identified by S.I.Shyam Lal of police station Kalyanpuri. They submit that they are not willing to pursue the FIRs any further and both the FIRs may be quashed.
Keeping in view the above fact that petitioners and private
respondents have now settled their disputes amicably in order to maintain harmonious relations in future, in the interest of justice both the FIRs, that is, FIR No. 361/2014 under Sections 341/354/509/34 IPC and FIR No. 359/2014 under Section 323/354B /509 IPC, both registered at Police Station Kalyanpuri and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
Both the petitions are disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous applications are disposed of as infructuous. Dasti. A.K. ATHAK, J NOVEMBER 089 2017 PS
