O R D E R

% 03.12.2018 By this petition the petitioner seeks quashing of FIR No.326/2015 under Section 135 of Indian Electricity Act, registered at PS Mehrauli, Delhi on the complaint of respondent No.2 and the proceedings on the ground that the petitioner and respondent No.2 have settled the matter. Mr.Pradeep Basoya, Assistant Manager (Legal) and Authorized Representative of respondent No.2 is present in Court and is duly identified W.P.(CRL) 3521/2018

by the counsel. He states that the petitioner being the owner of the premises has settled all claims of the electricity dues towards the said premises and thus the respondent No.2 does not wish to pursue the above noted FIR and the proceedings pursuant thereto.

In view of the statement of Authorized Representative of respondent No.2, no useful purpose will be served in continuance of the proceedings. It would be in the interest of justice to quash the abovementioned FIR and the proceedings pursuant thereto. There is no legal impediment in quashing the FIR in question.

Consequently, FIR No.326/2015 under Section 135 of Indian Electricity Act, registered at PS Mehrauli, Delhi and proceedings pursuant thereto are hereby quashed.

Petitioner and Mr.Pradeep Basoya, Assistant Manager (Legal) and Authorized Representative of respondent No.2, duly identified by their respective counsel have signed this order sheet in acknowledgment of their statements made before this Court.

Petition is disposed of. Order dasti.
