Present petition has been filed by the petitioner challenging the order dated 30.05.2016 passed by the Ld. Commissioner Employees Compensation awarding compensation of Rs.3,05,715/- towards financial loss and Rs.2,500/- towards funeral expenses and deposit the awarded amount with interest @ 12% p.a. from 19.03.2004. The insurance company has already deposited the amount of Rs.7,56,787/- before the Ld. Commissioner Employees Compensation. 2.

After interaction and deliberation, it is agreed between the parties that out of the deposited amount along with accrued interest, the insurance company shall be refunded lump sum amount of Rs. 1,50,000/- and the balance amount along with the total accrued interest shall go to the Respondent No. 1 as full and final settlement. Counsel for the Respondent No. 1 submits that settled amount be released.

In view of the settlement, the respondent- Commissioner Employees Compensation is directed to refund lump sum amount of Rs.1,50,000/- to insurance company and further directed to release the balance amount lying with the Commissioner Employees Compensation along with accrued interest in favour of respondent no. 1 subject to compliance of all the requisite formalities. 4.
