% 18.09.2017 Petitioner's dog had bitten respondent no.2/complainant which led to registration of FIR 361/2012 under Section 289 IPC registered at PS Mukherjee Nagar on 2nd December, 2012. Subsequently, offence under section 337 IPC was also added. It is submitted that the petitioner and respondent no.2/complainant have amicably settled their disputes and, therefore, the aforesaid FIR and consequent proceeding emanating therefrom, may be quashed. Respondent no.2/complainant is present in the Court today along with his counsel and has been identified by SI Praveen Sharma. He submits that he has settled the matter with the petitioner of his own free will, voluntarily and without any undue force, pressure or coercion.

He admits having received the entire settled amount of `5,000/- from the petitioner and submits that he is not willing to

pursue the FIR any further and the same may be quashed. Keeping in view the settlement arrived at between the petitioner and respondent no.2 volunarily, in the interest of justice, FIR 361/2012 under Section 289 IPC registered at PS Mukherjee Nagar and consequent proceedings emanating therefrom, are quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
