This is a joint petition filed for seeking extension of time in order to conclude the arbitration proceedings.

The record shows that the Arbitral Tribunal was constituted on 17.5.2017.

2.1 Learned counsel for the parties inform me that on that date itself time for concluding arbitration proceedings was extended by six (6) months over and above the statutory period of twelve (12) months. 2.2 Consequently, the extended time expired on 17.11.2018. 3.

I am told by counsel for the parties that the matter is at the stage of evidence.

Having regard to the time and money invested by the parties, I am O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 365/2018

inclined to extend the period for concluding the arbitration proceedings and publishing the award by another six (6) months commencing from 17.11.2018.
