After some arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in case directions are issued for expeditious disposal by the Trial Court, he shall not press this petition at this stage.

Keeping in view of the facts and circumstances of the case and the number of witnesses remaining, the Trial Court is directed to expedite the recording of the prosecution witnesses and endeavour to conclude the same, preferably, within a period of 1 year from the next date of hearing before the Trial Court. 3.
In view of the above directions, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks leave to withdraw the petition.

The petition is, accordingly, dismissed as withdrawn with the aforesaid directions.
