versus STATE ( NCT OF DELHI) & ANR ..... Respondents Through:

CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE A.K. PATHAK
O R D E R
% 03.12.2018 It is submitted that petitioner and respondent no. 2 have settled their disputes amicably, therefore, FIR No. 795/2014 under Sections 354 IPC registered at police station Sarai Rohilla and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom may be quashed. Respondent no. 2 is present in Court along with her counsel and has been identified by SI Narender Singh of police station Sarai Rohilla.
She admits having settled the matter with petitioner of her own free will, voluntarily and without any undue force, pressure or coercion vide Compromise Deed dated 15.11.2018. She has no objection in case aforesaid FIR is quashed. Affidavit of respondent no.2 is also on record to this effect.
Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioner and
respondent no. 2, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending.
Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous.
Dasti.
