The petitioners have filed the present petition, inter alia, praying as under:- "a.

call for the records of the application (tiled as "Smt. Kalawati Joshi & Anr. Vs. Umesh Joshi & Anr. Filed vide diary No. 1066 dated 13.07.2018) filed before Respondent No.l by Petitioners under rule 22(3) of The Delhi Maintenance and Welfare of Parents & Senior citizens Rules, from the office of District Magistrate, South East District, Delhi;

b.

direct respondent No.l to decide application of Petitioners in a time bound manner as expeditiously as possible or to direct Respondent No.2 and 3 to hand over vacant possession of Flat No. 337, 2nd floor, Sant Nagar, East of Kailash, New Delhi-110048 forthwith;

The petitioners are senior citizens and have filed an application under

Rule 22(3) of the Delhi Maintenance and Welfare of Parents & Senior citizens Rules, 2009 before the District Magistrate (South East) praying that their son and his wife (respondent nos.2 and 3) be evicted from the premises bearing Municipal No.337, second floor, situated at village Garhi Jharia Maria, Sant Nagar Colony, East of Kailash.

The petitioner's grievance is that their application has not been decided as yet.

Learned counsel appearing for respondent no.1 submits that the District Magistrate has called for the report of the concerned SDM and the petitioner's case is being enquired into.

He assures this Court that the petitioner's application would be considered as expeditiously as possible. 5.

In view of the above, no further orders are required to be passed except to direct the District Magistrate (South East) to take a final view in the matter as expeditiously as possible and in any event within a period of six weeks from today. It is so directed.

The petition is disposed of with the aforesaid directions. 7.
