O R D E R

% 20.11.2018 The petitioners seek directions against respondents No. 2 to 4 to give protection to them; they are stated to be legal adults; their marriage has been registered with the SDM, Hauz Khas, South District, New Delhi, on 14.11.2018.

The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioner No. 1 has left her home of her own free volition and emphasises on her right, guaranteed by the Constitution, to choose a life partner and that nobody has a right to interfere in the same.

In the circumstances, this petition shall be treated as the petitioners' representation by the DCP of the area concerned. The petitioners shall also meet the DCP on 22.11.2018, preferably in the forenoon. The latter shall interact with the petitioners and accord them due protection as per the threat perceived.

The petition stands disposed-off in terms of the above. A copy of this order be given dasti to the learned counsel for the parties under signature of the Court Master.
