OMP (MISC)(COMM) 360/2018 & IA 16139/2018 This petition under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (hereinafter referred to as the 'Act') has been filed by the petitioner seeking extension of time for the Arbitral Tribunal to pass the Award adjudicating the disputes that have arisen between the parties.

Counsel for the respondent who appears on an advance notice submits that the respondent has no objection if the time for making of the Award is extended by this Court, however, this should not be treated as an admission of the contents of the petition by the respondent.

Having considered the submissions made in the petition and

also no objection expressed by the counsel for the respondent, the time for making of the Award by the Arbitral Tribunal is extended till 31.07.2019.

The petition is allowed in the above terms with no order as to costs.

IA 16139/2018 The application is dismissed as infructuous.
