This public interest litigation has been preferred with the following prayers:

"In view of the above, it is prayed that this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to pass appropriate writ(s)/ order(s)/direction(s) to the Respondents to ensure that all the school buses of Delhi &NCR carrying school children are equipped with Real Time School Bus Tracking System or should be GPS enabled sharing real time location with parents and issue necessary direction(s) to all the Schools to strictly install or make such provisions in their Buses for their easy tracking on roads."

Counsel for the petitioner submitted that guidelines have been issued by respondent No.3 which is at page No.22 onwards of this writ petition. Counsel for the petitioner has taken this Court to guideline 2(g) etc. which is about installation of Global Positioning System (GPS) and installation of CCTV Cameras in each school bus and it would be kept in working condition at all the time. Similarly, other guidelines have also been highlighted by the counsel for the petitioner. 3.

Counsel appearing for respondent No.3 submitted that the aforesaid guidelines is a mere advisory in nature and nothing beyond that. 4.

Learned counsel for respondent No.1 submitted that they will keep in mind all these guidelines and the prayer of this petitioner and would put all attempts in practice so that these advisories can be implemented in as many schools as possible.

With the aforesaid observations, this writ petition is hereby disposed of.
