The petitioner has filed the instant bail application under Section 438 Cr.P.C. seeking anticipatory bail in case FIR No.242/2016 under Sections 406/420/506 IPC, PS Baba Haridas Nagar, Delhi. 2.

Learned APP for the State submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation and his custodial interrogation is not required. 3.

Mr.Satish Tamta, learned Senior Advocate for the petitioner submits that pursuant to the order dated 18th September, 2017, the petitioner has already deposed ₹5 lakh with the Registrar General of this Court. 4.

In the given facts and circumstances of the case and in view of the BAIL APPLN. 1872/2017

submissions made on behalf of the State that custodial interrogation of the petitioner is not required, it is directed that in the event of arrest, the petitioner be released on bail on his furnishing personal bond in the sum of ₹1 lac with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of IO/SHO concerned. However, the petitioner is directed to join the investigation as and when required by the Investigating Officer. 5.

The amount of ₹5 lakhs deposited by the petitioner pursuant to the order dated 18th September, 2017 shall be subject to outcome of the case FIR No.242/2016 under Sections 406/420/506 IPC, PS Baba Haridas Nagar, New Delhi.

Bail application is allowed.

As prayed copy of the order be given dasti to learned counsel for the parties.
