% 03.03.2017 28 years old married daughter of the petitioner is missing since 22.08.2015. Another status report has been placed on record detailing steps taken to recover the missing person. It is revealed that the polygraph tests have been conducted on all six suspects, who were in touch with the victim through Facebook, Whatsapp and mobile. The results of the tests have been received and all the suspects have been found to be truthful in their answers in the said tests. Friends of victim have also been examined at length on various dates.
Mr. Mehra submits that the State would continue to take steps and measures to trace the missing person and keep the family members including petitioner no. 1 informed about the progress in the matter every six weeks.
The present petition is disposed of binding the State to the statement made in court today.
We grant liberty to the petitioner no. 1 to approach this court again in case he is dissatisfied with the progress made or in case he wishes to place further facts on record.
