% 20.09.2017 Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw the present writ petition and states that he would await the decision of the statutory complaint. Counsel for the respondents has stated that the petitioner has not made statutory complaint in accordance with the provisions of Section 26 of the Army Act. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that he would examine the said aspect and if required take appropriate steps.
Recording the aforesaid statement, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to the petitioner to approach the Court, if required and necessary. It is clarified that we have not held and observed that this Court has territorial jurisdiction.
