Notice.

Mr.Mehra, learned Standing Counsel, who appears on an advance copy having been served, accepts notice. Nominal roll is already on record.

2.

The petitioner seeks his release on Parole to re-establish and maintain his family and social ties for a period of three months. 3.

Learned Standing Counsel points out that vide order dated 25.08.2017, the request of the petitioner for release him on Parole was rejected by the competent authority as his conduct was not found uniformly good and as such in terms of Para No. 11.2 of the Parole/Furlough Guidelines, 2010 his request was declined.

4.

Nominal roll has been perused. The petitioner was convicted for the offence under Section 302 of IPC and he was awarded sentence for Rigorous Imprisonment of Life and fine of Rs.5,000/- in default one month Simple

Imprisonment by the learned ASJ, Delhi on 12.10.2009. His appeal being Crl.A. No. 597/2010 was dismissed by this court on 31.03.2014. His overall conduct in the Jail has been consistently unsatisfactory. He was awarded punishment on 15.03.2010, 20.04.2010, 23.03.2010, 05.07.2010, 13.09.2010, 27.10.2010, 16.08.2013, 16.01.2014, 28.06.2016, 12.09.2016 and lastly on 28.02.2017 when a SIM Card and Tobacco were recovered from him.

5.

In these circumstances, I do not find any justification to release the petitioner on Parole. The petition is dismissed. VINOD GOEL, J.
