..... Petitioners Through Mr. Pratyush Chiranjan, Adv.

CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE A.K. PATHAK
O R D E R
% 11.01.2018 Respondent no. 2 (wife) says that she is living with petitioner no. 1 (husband) for more than three years after resolving the differences with him and is not willing to pursue the FIR any further. Respondent no. 2 is present in Court and has been identified by SI Sandeep Rawal of Police Station Kalyanpuri.
She says that terms of the settlement have also been recorded before the Delhi Mediation Centre on 31st August, 2015. Proceedings sheet of the Mediation Centre is annexed with this petition at pages 29 to 33. Respondent no. 2 says that she has no grievance against the
petitioners. She further says that she has no objection in case FIR is quashed against the petitioner no. 1 and his relatives, that is, petitioner nos. 2 and 3. Keeping in mind that husband and wife have started living together after resolving their differences, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice FIR No.183/2012 under Sections 498-A/406/34 IPC registered at Police Station Kalyanpuri and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous. Dasti.
