The Status Report has been filed. It is stated in the Status Report that the documents have been found genuine and the wife of the accused/petitioner, who is a housewife, is suffering from gall bladder stones. She has been given the date of 11.12.2018 for surgery, but the doctor has opined that this is not an emergency surgery.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has three small children, who are being looked after by their mother, who has no source of livelihood and there is no one else to take care of the mother before or after the surgery. This fact is also verified by the Investigating Officer, who is present in Court.

Accordingly, in the aforesaid facts and circumstances, the petitioner is admitted to interim bail for a period of fifteen days,

on his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of Rs.25,000/-, with one surety of the like amount, to the satisfaction of the concerned Court. It is clarified that the period of 15 days would not be extended further for any reason whatsoever and the petitioner would surrender on the expiry of the interim bail. 4.
