% 13.12.2017 Respondent no. 2 alleged in the FIR that petitioner had been making telephone calls to her.

On 12th July, 2014 at about 10:30 pm he followed her on his motorcycle.

He insisted that she should talk to him.

It is submitted that petitioner had met respondent no. 2 through a common friend. It is submitted that petitioner and respondent no. 2 have settled their disputes amicably with the interventions of common friends. Respondent no. 2 is present in Court and has been identified by ASI Mahabir Singh of police station Moti Nagar. She says that she has now settled the matter with the

petitioner, vide a Joint Agreement dated 16th September, 2017 (Annexure 2), of her own free will, voluntarily and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. She further submits that she is not willing to pursue the FIR any further and the same may be quashed.

Keeping in view the settlement arrived at between the petitioner and respondent no. 2 voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, FIR No.655/2014 under Section 354 IPC registered at police station Moti Nagar and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms.

Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous.
