W.P.ICRLl 3571/2018 & W.P. rCRL.l 3576/2018 This petition seeks quashing of FIR. The Court would note that the FIR is registered under sections 307/34 IPC & 27/54/59 Arms Act. Gun shots were allegedly fired by petitioner. It is a serious matter which has severe consequences towards law and order and also creates a sense of fear in society.

Mr. Rajesh Mahajan, the learned ASC for the State relies upon the judgment of the Supreme Court in State of Madhya Pradesh v. Manish and Others (2015) 3 SCC (Cri.) 510.
