% 08.11.2017 In view of settlement arrived at with the respondent no.2 vide settlement deed dated 23rd December, 2016 (Annexure C), petitioner, has prayed for quashing of FIR No.208/2014 under Sections 498A/406/354/34 IPC registered at PS Vasant Kunj South on the complaint of respondent no.2. Marriage of petitioner and respondent no.2 has already been dissolved by a decree of divorce by mutual consent passed by the Family Courts, Patiala House Courts, Delhi on 24th January, 2017. Petitioner submits that the entire settled amount has been paid.

Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the case as detailed above more particularly, the fact that marriage between the petitioner no.1 and respondent no.2 has already been dissolved, in the interest of justice, FIR No.208/2014 under Sections 498-

A/406/354/34 IPC registered at PS Vasant Kunj South and the consequent proceedings emanating thereform are quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
