..... Respondents Through:

CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE VIBHU BAKHRU

O R D E R

% 22.09.2017 CM No.34747/2017 1.

Allowed, subject to all just exceptions.

W.P.(C) 8433/2017 & CM No.34748/2017 2.

None appears for the respondents despite advance service. Mr Vikram Jetly, CGSC accepts notice.

3.

The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that directions be issued to respondents to give a certified copy of the relevant portion of the register indicating that certain records pertaining to the petitioner company have been destroyed. The petitioner had requested for inspection of the relevant records which was, admittedly, provided. 4.

It is stated that the respondents have refused to issue a certified copy as the same is not covered under any Rules. The learned counsel for the petitioner states that even so, there are also no Rules which prohibit

providing such copies.

5.

This Court is of the view that no prejudice would be caused to the respondents in furnishing a copy of the relevant extract (only relating to the entry pertaining to the petitioner company) of the register indicating destruction of records as sought by the petitioner. Accordingly, the respondents are directed to provide a copy of the said extract. 6.

No further orders are required to be passed in this petition. The petition is disposed.
