% 31.10.2017 Petitioners has prayed for quashing of FIR 571/2017 under Sections 323/354/354-A/509/34 IPC registered at P.S. Nand Nagri on the complaint of respondent no. 2. It is submitted that a quarrel took place between petitioner and private respondent nos. 2 to 4 in a marriage function. Petitioner is related to sister of respondent no.2. It is submitted that petitioner and respondent nos. 2 to 4 have now settled their disputes amicably with the intervention of their elders in the family, vide Memorandum of Understanding / compromise deed dated 29th August, 2017. Respondent nos.2 to 4 are present in the Court and have been identified by SI Omveer of PS Nand Nagri and they admit having settled the matter with the petitioner of their own free will, voluntarily and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. They further submit that they are not willing to pursue their FIR in view of the settlement and the same may be quashed.

Keeping in mind the facts and circumstances as detailed above, more particularly the fact that petitioner and private respondents have settled their disputes vide Memorandum of Understanding / compromise deed dated 29th August, 2017, in order to maintain harmonious relation in future, in the interest of justice, FIR 571/2017 under Sections 323/354/354-A/509/34 IPC registered at P.S. Nand Nagri and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous. Dasti.
