1. It is submitted that petitioner no.1 and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes amicably, therefore, FIR No.427/2016 under Sections 406/498A/34 IPC registered at police station Bawana, which is at initial stage, may be quashed.

Petitioner nos. 2 to 5 are relatives of petitioner no.1.

2. Respondent no. 2 is present in Court and has been identified by ASI Mahender, P.S. Bawana. Respondent no. 2 says that she has settled the matter with the petitioner no.1 of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. Marriage of petitioner and respondent no. 2 has already been dissolved by a decree of divorce by mutual consent on 26th August, 2017 passed by the Family

Courts, Rohini Courts, Delhi.

She further submits that she has received the entire settled amount from the petitioner no.1. Respondent no. 2 further submits that she is not willing to pursue the FIR any further and the same may be quashed.

3. Keeping in view the settlement arrived at between the petitioner no.1 and respondent no. 2 voluntarily, more particularly that their marriage stands dissolved by a decree of divorce by mutual consent on 26th August, 2017, in the interest of justice, FIR No.427/2016 under Sections 406/498A/34 IPC registered at police station Bawana, is quashed.

4. Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application, if any, is disposed of as infructuous. Dasti.
