Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this is a matter which is pending before the Trial Court since 2007 and as stated, the Trial Court has only recorded the examinations-in-chief of four witnesses so far. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submitted that the Trial Court may be directed to expedite the proceedings in the matter.

It is further submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that he may be allowed to withdraw the petition in case the Trial Court is directed to expedite the proceedings. Accordingly, the petition is dismissed as withdrawn with the direction to the Trial Court to expedite the proceedings in the matter and take up the matter every week without giving any adjournment to any party on any

ground whatsoever. The Trial Court is also directed to submit a report regarding the progress in the matter after six months in the High Court. Pending applications are also dismissed as withdrawn. CHANDER SHEKHAR, J APRIL 04, 2019/rk
