O R D E R

% 06.11.2017 Respondent no. 2 Meena is present in Court and has been identified by ASI Ravinder Tiwari of Police Station Mangol Puri. Respondent no. 2 says that she has settled the matter with petitioner no. 1 during the proceedings dated 4th August, 2014 in HMA No. 561/2014, on the terms as recorded in the order dated 4th August, 2014 passed by the Family Court, North West District, Rohini Courts, Delhi. She further says that she has settled the matter with the petitioner no. 1 of her own free will, voluntarily and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. She submits that her marriage with the petitioner no.1 has already been dissolved by a decree of divorce by mutual consent vide order dated 28th September, 2015 passed by the Family Court, North West District,

Rohini Courts, Delhi.

Respondent no. 2 admits having received the entire settled amount. She further submits that she has no objection in case FIR is quashed against the petitioner no. 1 and his relatives, that is, petitioner nos. 2 to 11.

Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioners and respondent no. 2, in the interest of justice, FIR No.88/2014 under Sections 498A/406 IPC registered at Police Station Mangol Puri and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Dasti. A.K. PATHAK, J.
