..... Respondent Represented by:

CORAM:

HON'BLE MS. JUSTICE MUKTA GUPTA

O R D E R

% 15.12.2017 By this petition the petitioner had sought expeditious investigation in case FIR No. 173/2017 under Sections 287/304A IPC registered at PS Bhajanpura.

The grievance of the petitioner is that despite the fact that her husband died of electrocution when the wires in the electricity poll were not connected to the earth no action has been taken by the State and the investigation in the above-noted FIR has not been concluded. A status report has been handed-over by learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State which is taken on record. As per the status report after registration of the FIR the crime scene was got inspected. Further the W.P.(CRL) 2782/2017

autopsy surgeon opined the cause of death as "shock as a result of antemortem electrocution". The reply has been received from the BSES which states that the company responsible for the maintenance of the electricity poll was M/s. PEE KAY Electrical Works. Thus, Mr. Pramod Gupta the contractor and proprietor of M/s. PEE KAY Electrical Works was arrested and released on bail.

Learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State on instructions from the investigating officer states that the charge-sheet pursuant to the investigation in the above-noted FIR will be filed within two weeks. On the statement of learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State learned counsel for the petitioner states that no further orders are required to be passed in the present petition.

Petition is thus disposed of.
