% 19.12.2017 The petitioner was granted interim protection on 22.09.2017. She has since joined investigation.
A Status Report is stated to have been filed; however, the same is not on record. A copy of the Status Report is handed over and is accepted on record.
It states that chargesheet was filed on 13.10.2017 and 32 witnesses are to be examined by the prosecution. In the circumstances, the interim order is confirmed. In the event of arrest of the petitioner in FIR no. 153/2017 dated 18.02.2017, U/s 498A/304-B/34 IPC, P.S. S.P. Badli, Delhi, she shall be released on bail on her furnishing a personal bond in the sum of Rs.20,000/- with a surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the Arresting/ Investigating Officer, subject to the following conditions:
(i) the petitioner shall continue to participate in the investigation as and when she is so intimated by the Investigating Officer;
(ii) she shall make no attempt, directly or indirectly, to contact the complainant or his relatives or close associates; (iii) she will provide her mobile telephone number to the police and it shall be kept operational at all times, so that the police could contact her;
(iv) she shall not make any effort to evade the process of law; and (v) in case of change of the phone number or address, the petitioner shall inform the police forthwith.
Any observation made in this order shall have no bearing on the merits of the case.
The petition is disposed off.
