The petitioner is seeking appointment of an arbitrator under Section 11 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act.

Learned counsels for the parties submit that in a connected matter bearing ARB.P.307/2015, Sh. G.S. Patnayak (Retd. Principal SecretaryFinance) was appointed as sole arbitrator with the consent of both the parties. Learned counsels submit that Sh. G.S. Patnayak be appointed as sole arbitrator in this case.

The petition is allowed and Sh. G.S. Patnayak (Retd. Principal Secretary- Finance), is appointed as sole arbitrator to adjudicate the disputes between the parties including their claims and counter-claims. 4.

The learned arbitrator shall ensure the compliance of the provisions of Arbitration and Conciliation (Amendment) Act, 2015 before commencing of the arbitration.

Copy of this order be given dasti to counsels for the parties under the signature of the Court Master. A copy of this order be sent to the learned Arbitrator.
