W.P.(C) 8498/2017 Petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that although there is a report (dated 03.8.2017) of the office of Consolidation Officer in his favour wherein it has been stated that no share or the part of the land in Village Alipur is in the name of the applicant - Siddharth Aggarwal or Prithvi Raj. The case of the petitioner is not being considered favourably. Submission is that his application seeking allotment of an alternate plot had been rejected only for the reason that he has land in Village Alipur. This now having been clarified in the aforenoted communicated dated 03.8.2017, the petitioner has filed his representation before the Department on 21.8.2017. Submission is that he has not received any answer on his representation.
The respondent has been served. He has put in appearance. In this view of the matter, this Court is of the view that the representation of petitioner dated 21.8.2017 shall be decided expeditiously by the Department within an outer limit of four months. Petition disposed of in the above terms.
