% 03.08.2018 It is submitted that petitioner and respondent no. 2 are working in Municipal Corporation of Delhi.

A quarrel took place between them on some trivial issues, which led to registration of FIR no. 254/2017 under Section 3 of SC and ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989 on the complaint of respondent no. 2. It is further submitted that respondent no. 2 has settled his disputes amicably, vide a Mutual Compromise dated 8th August, 2017; therefore, aforesaid FIR and consequent proceedings emanating therefrom may be quashed. Respondent no. 2 Ram Bharose is

present in Court along with his counsel and has been identified by ACP Har Surender Pal Singh of police station Vikas Puri. Respondent no. 2 admits having settled the matter with petitioner of his own free will, voluntarily and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. Respondent no. 2 submits that he is not interested in pursuing the criminal case any further and he has no objection in case FIR and consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed against the petitioner.

Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioner and respondent no. 2, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous. Dasti.
