% 19.02.2018 Counsel for the respondent states that an order has been passed. Let the same be placed on record along with an affidavit within 15 days. If aggrieved, it will be open to the petitioner to challenge the order in accordance with law.

In case the impugned order has not dealt with and granted interest, a speaking order will be passed on the question of interest and will be communicated to the petitioner within 15 days. The petitioner, if aggrieved by non grant or short payment of interest, can challenge the order in accordance with law.

We accordingly dispose of the writ petition, giving liberty to the petitioner to ask for revival of the writ petition, in case the respondent does not file the aforesaid affidavit or does not pass an

order dealing with the question of interest within the time stipulated. No costs.
