% 23.10.2017 On 20th February, 2016 the tribunal comprising of sole arbitrator was constituted and had entered the reference. On 08.02.2017 before expiry of 12 months, the tribunal by way of Section 29A sub-clause 3 and with the consent of the parties extended time for competition of arbitral proceedings till 20th August, 2017. On 24th July, 2017 the tribunal had granted liberty to the parties to intimate their desire to lead any evidence in the instant case. It is also agreed between the parties that if they intend to lead any evidence the parties will jointly move the court for extension of a period of one year for completion of pending arbitral proceedings, hence this petition. Both the counsels have no objection for extension of time for one year. In the circumstances the time for completion of arbitral proceedings is extended for a period of one year from today. Dasti.
