Learned counsel for the respondents has stated that the petitioner's application for the passport has been denied for the reasons that he had applied for a political asylum in Germany, which was refused. He further states that in compliance with the orders passed by this court, the same has been communicated to the petitioner by a letter dated 26.10.2017. 3.

The petitioner would be at liberty to challenge the same in accordance with law.
