Learned counsel for the respondents states that he has filed a copy of an office order dated 08.03.2018, alongwith the counter affidavit, whereunder the benefit of the 2nd financial upgradation under the ACP Scheme on completion of 24 years of service has been granted to the petitioner. Learned counsel submits that as a consequence of the order dated 08.03.2018, the petitioner's pay shall be revised and the arrears shall be payable to him. Further, the petitioner's pension will also have to be revised. He states that it shall take three months to process the case of the petitioner for release of the aforesaid benefits. 2.
It is deemed appropriate to dispose of the present petition in view of the office order dated 08.03.2018 with directions to the respondents to process the case of the petitioner for release of all the consequential benefits within eight weeks from today.
