% 08.12.2017 Counsel for the respondent states that verification of the refund amount has been made and the amount would be paid within two weeks.
We take the statement on record and dispose of the present writ petition. In case there is a default or delay, it will be open to the petitioner to file an application for revival of the writ petition. We clarify that we have not issued any specific direction or made any observation on the refund or the quantum of refund. The respondent would also examine the question of interest and communicate their decision to the petitioner. If aggrieved, it will be open to the petitioner to challenge the decision in accordance with law.
