A fresh status report has been filed by the State. 2.

Before any submission could be made by Mr. Mehra, SC (Crl.) on the Status Report, appearance is entered by Mr. Wadhwa, Advocate, who states that he is appearing on behalf of the petitioner's missing daughter, Ms. Ikra Naj and the respondent No. 4, Amir. He states that Ms. Ikra Naj and Amir had solemnized their marriage on 02.11.2018 and they are not present in the Court due to an apprehension that the petitioner would get them arrested. 3.

Mr. Mehra, SC (Crl.) states that Ms. Ikra Naj and the respondent No.4, Amir had approached the Punjab & Haryana High Court by filing a writ petition, asking for protection and appropriate orders were passed in their favour but when the local police had gone to their residential address, they were not found there.

Now that Ms. Ikra Naj and the respondent No.4 have engaged a counsel to appear for them, it is deemed appropriate to direct the police to produce the petitioner's daughter with adequate police protection on the next date of hearing.
