The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying as under:- "In view of the above, it is therefore most respectfully prayed that this Hon'ble Court, in the interest of justice, may most graciously be pleased to direct the respondents to decide the notice no.COS(RG)/2016/6945-6946 dated 28.06.2016 in the matter titled Sh. Devender Kumar Wadhwa &Others regarding registration of memorandum of family settlement pending before the Respondent no.1."

Learned counsel who appears for the respondents on advance notice states that the petitioner has already been issued a Notice dated 27.11.2017

to appear before the Collector of Stamps on 05.12.2017 at 4:00 PM. She states on instructions that the matter would be considered and decided by the Collector of Stamps as expeditiously as possible. 4.

The learned counsel for the petitioner also states that the petitioner/his representative would appear before the Collector of Stamps on 05.12.2017 at the appointed time and would not seek any adjournment in this matter. 5.

In view of the aforesaid statements, no further orders are required to be passed in this petition except to direct the respondent to finally adjudicate the matter within a period of three months from today. 6.
