% 10.10.2017 The petitioner had approached this court seeking protection as he had been continuously receiving threats because of his having agreed to submit himself for a Lie Detection test which was to be conducted between 03.10.2017 and 06.10.2017. A bench of this court vide order dated 27.09.2017 directed the DCP (South) to provide three security personnel for the security of the petitioner and his family till 10.10.2017. Mr. Maninder Singh, learned advocate submits that the date of the Lie Detection Test has been extended till 23.10.2017. Mr. Jamal Akhtar, learned advocate appearing for the State submits

that since the order of a bench of this court has been passed for providing three security staff to the petitioner for the purposes of protecting him to appear for Lie Detection Test without fear in his mind, this protection shall be extended till the time the test is conducted on 23.10.2017. With this stand on behalf of the State, no further order is required to be passed in this writ petition.

The writ petition is disposed of.
