The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that the respondents be directed to supply a copy of the order-in-original no.179/DR/ADC/2016 dated 30.12.2016, whereby a penalty of ₹5 lacs was imposed on the petitioner.

At the outset, Mr Narula, learned counsel for respondent nos.2 & 3 submits that the said order was sent to the petitioner by speed post on 08.01.2017;

however, without entering into the controversy whether the said order was received by the petitioner or not, Mr Narula has also handed over a copy of the order dated 30.12.2016 to the learned counsel for the petitioner. He has also handed over a copy of the Show Cause Notice issued to the petitioner.

In view of the above, the petitioner's grievance does not survive and the present petition is disposed of.

It is clarified that this Court had not expressed any opinion whether the petitioner was served with the copy of the order dated 30.12.2016 earlier. It would be open for the parties to agitate this issue, if and when, the petitioner files an appeal against the said order. 5.
