O R D E R

% 11.10.2017 Respondent no.2 is present in Court and has been identified by ASI Ram Niwas of police station Binda Pur. Respondent no.2 submits that she has settled the matter with the petitioner no.1 of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. She further submits that her marriage with the petitioner no.1 has already been dissolved by a decree of divorce by mutual consent passed by the Family Court, Dwarka, New Delhi on 23rd September, 2016.

She also admits having received entire settled amount. In view of the settlement, she is not willing to pursue the FIR any further against the petitioner no.1 and his relatives, that is, petitioner nos. 2 to 5 and the same may be quashed.

Keeping in view the above facts and more particularly the fact that

petitioner no.1 and respondent no.2 have already parted their ways, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 640/13 under Sections 498-A/406/34 IPC registered at police station Binda Pur and the consequent proceedings emanating thereform are quashed in view of the settlement. Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous.
