CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE A.K. PATHAK

O R D E R

% 08.11.2017 Petitioner and respondent no.2 are related to each other. FIR No.511/2014 under Sections 354/34 IPC was registered at police station Bhajanpura against the petitioners on the complaint of respondent no.2 wherein it was alleged by respondent no.2 that petitioners had intercepted her on the way, while petitioner no.1 caught hold her hand, petitioner nos. 2 and 3 tried to outrage her modesty.

Respondent no.2 is present in the Court and has been identified by SI Ashish of police station Bhajanpura. Respondent no.2 says that she has settled the matter with petitioners with the intervention of elders of the family. She further submits that she has settled the disputes with the petitioners of her own free will, voluntarily and

without any undue force, pressure or coercion and she is not willing to pursue FIR against the petitioners and, therefore, the same may be quashed.

Keeping in view the fact that respondent no.2 has settled the dispute with the petitioners voluntarily, in the interest of justice FIR No.511/2014 under Sections 354/34 IPC registered at police station Bhajanpura and consequent proceedings emanating therefrom, are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Dasti. A.K. PATHAK, J NOVEMBER 08, 2017 sm
