% 03.12.2018 The petitioner was granted four weeks of parole by the Govt. of NCT of Delhi w.e.f 25th October, 2018 on the ground for filing a Special Leave Petition. The said parole was coming to an end on 22nd November, 2018 when the petitioner preferred the present petition seeking extension of parole on the ground that knee transplant surgery of the mother is to be performed on 4th December, 2018.
On a notice being issued a status report has been filed and in the meantime the petitioner has surrendered to custody. As per the status report the factum of the post knee transplant surgery of the petitioner's mother has been verified and she has to be admitted in the hospital today. The family of the petitioner comprises of his parents, one W.P.(CRL) 3568/2018
brother, two sisters, wife and two children.
Considering the fact that there is no allegation that the petitioner earlier misused the concession of parole and that the facts stated in the petition are verified, this Court deems it fit to grant parole to the petitioner. It is, therefore, directed that the petitioner be released on parole for a period of two weeks from the date of his release on his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of ₹25,000/- with one surety bond of the like amount, subject to the satisfaction of the learned Trial Court/CMM Concerned/Duty Magistrate.
Petition is disposed of.
Copy of this order be communicated to the petitioner through Superintendent, Mandoli Jail.
