By this application, the petitioner seeks directions to the Registry to send the final order dated 27.09.2017, whereby, the sentence of the petitioner was reduced to one year, to the concerned jail authorities. It is contended that the jail authorities have till date not given effect to the said order.

The record of the Registry has been produced. It shows that the order dated 27.09.2017 was sent to the Central Jail-1, Tihar, which was received in the Dak Section on 09.10.2017.

The application is disposed of with a direction to the jail authorities to forthwith give effect to the order dated 27.09.2017. The Registry is directed to send another copy of the order dated 27.09.2017 to the jail authorities forthwith.
