Learned counsel for the petitioner seeks impleadment of the daughter of the complainant on the ground that she is an alleged victim in the FIR. In view of the above, daughter of the complainant is impleaded as respondent no. 3. Amended memo of parties is taken on record.

The petitioner seeks quashing of FIR No. 1281/2015 under Sections 354D/506/509 of the IPC, Police Station Hauz Khas, New CRL.M.C. 2815/2018
Delhi, based on a settlement.

The subject FIR emanates out of a dispute which arose consequent to advancing of loan. It is contended that compromise deed dated 01.02.2018 has been executed.

Respondent no. 2 & 3 are present in person in Court today and is identified by the Investigating Officer. They submit that they have settled the disputes with the intervention of locals and respectable people of the locality. Respondent No. 2 & 3 submit that they do not wish to press the criminal complaint against the petitioner any further. 5.
In view of the fact that the disputes between the parties have been settled, continuation of criminal proceedings will be an exercise in futility and justice in the case demands that the dispute between the parties is put to an end and peace is restored; securing the ends of justice being the ultimate guiding factor. It would also be expedient to quash the subject FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom.

In view of the above, the petition is allowed. FIR No.
1281/2015 under Sections 354D/506/509 of the IPC, Police Station Hauz Khas, New Delhi and the consequent proceedings emanating there from are, accordingly quashed.
