% 09.01.2018 It is submitted that petitioner and respondent no. 2 have settled their disputes amicably, vide a Compromise Deed dated 26th August, 2017; therefore, FIR No.156/2014 under Section 354-A IPC registered at Police Station Yamuna Depot on the complaint of respondent no. 2, may be quashed.

Respondent no.2 Ms. Ruma is present in Court and has been identified by ASI Narender Singh of police station Yamuna Depot. Respondent no. 2 submits that she has settled the matter with the petitioner of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion and she has no objection in case FIR is quashed. Affidavit of respondent no. 2 is

also on record as Annexure P-5.

Keeping in view the settlement arrived at between the petitioner and respondent no. 2 voluntarily, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, FIR No.156/2014 under Section 354-A IPC registered at Police Station Yamuna Depot and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous. Dasti.
