O R D E R

% 24.10.2017 Respondent no.2 is present in Court along with her counsel. She has been identified by SI Azad Singh of police station Ranhola. Respondent no.2 submits that she has settled the matter before the Counselling Cell, Family Court, West District, Tis Hazari Court, Delhi on 3rd August, 2015 of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. She further submits that her marriage with the petitioner no.2 has already been dissolved by a decree of divorce by mutual consent passed by the Family Court on 17th September, 2016. She also admits having received the entire settled amount. She is not willing to pursue the FIR any further. Keeping in mind the settled arrived at between the petitioner no.1 and

respondent no.2 and the fact that their marriage has already been dissolved, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 492/2014 under Sections 498-A/406/34 IPC registered at police station Ranhola and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
